Refund policy

SELİN SHOES FOOTWEAR IND. AND TRADE CO. LTD. CANCELLATION (WITHDRAWAL) AND RETURN POLICY

As Selin Shoes, we prioritize our customer satisfaction and manage our return, cancellation, and withdrawal processes in accordance with Turkish legislation. Below is our detailed policy outlining our customers' rights and obligations.

 1. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

In accordance with Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the Distance Contracts Regulation, consumers may exercise their right of withdrawal within 14 days of distance sales contracts (e.g., online purchases) without providing any justification or paying any penalty. In this context:

 1.1 Right of Withdrawal Period

- The right of withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the product is delivered to the consumer or a third party designated by the consumer.

- The start of the right of withdrawal period:

  - If multiple products are ordered in a single order and delivered separately, the delivery date of the last product is taken into account.

  - In contracts stipulating regular deliveries over a specific period, the first delivery date is taken into account.

 1.2 Circumstances in Which the Right of Withdrawal Cannot Be Exercised

The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised in the following cases:

- Products designed to meet the consumer's wishes or personal needs (e.g., custom-sized or personalized products).

- Products that are not suitable for return due to hygienic reasons (e.g., used shoes and slippers).

- Products whose packaging has been opened, used, whose labels have been cut off, or that have lost their resalability.

 1.3 Exercise of the Right of Withdrawal

- To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must notify Selin Shoes in writing (e.g., email, registered letter with return receipt, or registered electronic mail - KEP) within the right of withdrawal period.

- The order number, product information, and contact information must be clearly stated in the right of withdrawal notification.

- If the right of withdrawal is exercised, the product must be returned to Selin Shoes along with its original box and invoice.

1.4 Return Process After the Right of Withdrawal

- Following the receipt of the notification that the right of withdrawal has been exercised, Selin Shoes is obligated to refund the price of the product to the consumer within 14 days.

- Upon receipt and inspection of the returned product by Selin Shoes, it must be determined that the product is unused, the label has not been cut, and it is undamaged.

- Shipping Costs:

- If the right of withdrawal is exercised, the shipping costs for the return of the product are the responsibility of the seller, unless otherwise stated.

- However, in the case of defective goods, outgoing shipping costs will also be covered by Selin Shoes.

2. DEFECTIVE PRODUCT CASES

According to Articles 8 and subsequent articles of Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, if a product is defective, the consumer has the following optional rights:

1. Request a refund for the product.

2. Request the replacement of the product with a non-defective equivalent.

3. Request a discount proportional to the defect.

4. Request free repair of the product.

Points to consider when returning defective products:

- The consumer must notify Selin Shoes within 30 days of discovering the defect.

- Return shipping costs for defective products are covered by Selin Shoes.

 3. PRODUCTS NOT RECEIVED

If the consumer fails to collect the product for any reason, or if the address is incorrect or the customer is not permanently present at the address, the following procedures are applied:

- When the undelivered product is returned to Selin Shoes, the consumer will be notified in writing.

- The notification will give the consumer 15 days to collect the product, either by paying the shipping fee or by coming in person.

- Undelivered products will be stored by Selin Shoes for 30 days. Storage and shipping costs incurred during this period will be the responsibility of the consumer.

- Products not received within 30 days may be disposed of by Selin Shoes and donated to charities. In this case, no refund will be given to the consumer.

4. GENERAL PROVISIONS

- This policy has been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the Distance Contracts Regulation.

- Selin Shoes reserves the right to change this policy without prior notice. However, changes apply only prospectively and do not affect existing orders.

- Consumers reserve their rights under general law, in addition to the rights they have under this policy.
